Second puzzle piece..

I got in the mood yesterday to decorate the other puzzle piece and went looking for materials...In fact I have been looking for materials before but nothing satisfied me..up till yesterday ! I finally found the right background image, the smaller images for decoration and the right brads and threads and stuff... This is how it turned out! I like this one better than the other one but that is also because this colour is more "me" :-)

Goodness...

Time flies, also when you're not having fun ! My physical condition is getting worse and no doctor knows exactly what is wrong. I am sooo tired! Also my back pain is getting worse. I went to town yesterday because my youngest son needed new shoes and some clothes but when I walk for some time the pain is getting worse and worse. So today I need to rest, I will take some painkillers and try to stay in bed most of the day. Hoping that things will feel better tomorrow.

Anyway, two days ago I was sitting in the sunshine in my messy garden ( garden?? what garden?? ) working on a puzzle piece that I had to make for a swap. Actually I have two pieces to decorate but I can do just one at a time LOL. The main colour of this piece had to be lime green , so that is where I started...It has become a sort of collage, not only with paper but also with beads and brads and stuff. I took a pic of it to show here...It is GREEN alright !??? hahahaha Hope the person who it is made for will like it...I did my best.

So , in my last message I was talking about showing you 2 ATCs. Somehow life got in the way and I never put the other one online but I have not forgotten about it! It is a handdrawn ATC with the title "Color Me Faery" made by Sherri A. But I will leave it this way because knowing me I am afraid that I will ruin the whole drawing and don't want that to happen :-)

The next card I will show in a new blog message as I have tried to put the scan underneath this one here, but somehow I have not figured out yet on how to do that. If I upload it now it will show up next to the other, no matter what place I fill in ( left, right, middle...it won't help ).

Artist Trading Cards

One of my hobbies is creating ATCs, artist trading cards. Not that I am such a great artist, I don't consider myself to be an artist, it is purely for fun and pleasure that I am making them.

One thing that I love about it is that anything goes ( paint, embroidery, collage etc ) and I also love it, that because of this hobby, I have contacts all over the world.

Every now and then I will show here some ATCs. Sometimes it will be cards that I have made, other times it wil be cards that I have received .

This time I will show you a card that I have received as a RAK from someone I know at ATC_World as a thank you for hosting the Winner Takes All at that group. I am very happy with the card and it gives me a good feeling that my work for that game is being appreciated.

The "freedom song" ATC is made by Gina G. It is a lovely card of a bird escaping from a cage.

Installing Love

Tech Support: Yes, ... how can I help you?
Customer: Well, after much consideration, I've decided to install LOVE. Can you guide me though the process?
Tech Support: Yes. I can help you. Are you ready to proceed?
Customer: Well, I'm not very technical, but I think I'm ready. What do I do first?
Tech Support: The first step is to open your Heart. Have you located your Heart?
Customer: Yes, but there are several other programs running now. Is it okay to install Love while they are running?
Tech Support: What programs are running?
Customer: Let's see, I have Past Hurt, Low Self-Esteem, Grudge, and Resentment running right now.
Tech Support: No problem, Love will gradually erase Past Hurt from your current operating system. It may remain in your permanent memory but it will no longerdisrupt other programs. Love will eventually override Low Self-Esteem with a module of its own called High Self-Esteem. However, you have to completely turn off Grudge and Resentment. Those programs prevent Love from being properly installed. Can you turn those off?
Customer: I don't know how to turn them off. Can you tell me how?
Tech Support: With pleasure. Go to your start menu and invoke Forgiveness. Do this as many times as necessary until Grudge and Resentment have been completely erased.
Customer: Okay, done! Love has started installing itself. Is thatnormal?
Tech Support: Yes, but remember that you have only the base program. You need to begin connecting to other Hearts in order to get the upgrades.
Customer: Oops! I have an error message already. It says, "Error - Program notrun on external components." What should I do?
Tech Support: Don't worry. It means that the Love program is set up to run on Internal Hearts, but has not yet been run on your Heart. In non-technical terms, it simply means you have to Love yourself before you can Love others.
Customer: So, what should I do?
Tech Support: Pull down Self-Acceptance; then click on the following files: Forgive-Self; Realize Your Worth; and Acknowledge your Limitations.
Customer: Okay, done.
Tech Support: Now, copy them to the "My Heart" directory. The system willoverwrite any conflicting files and begin patching faulty programming. Also, you need to delete Verbose Self-Criticism from all directories and empty your Recycle Bin to make sure it is completely gone and never comes back.
Customer: Got it. Hey! My heart is filling up with new files. Smile is playing on my monitor and Peace and Contentment are copying themselves all over My Heart.Is this normal?
Tech Support: Sometimes. For others it takes awhile, but eventually everything gets it at the proper time. So LOVE is installed and running. One more thing before we hang up. LOVE is Freeware. Be sure to give it and its various modules to everyone you meet. They will in turn share it with others and return some coolmodules back to you.
